Train the Trainer. Kuwait [2011]

InspirEngage was invited back to the Middle East in February 2011, to deliver the next step of skills development for the Kuwaiti Climate Champions – ‘Train the Trainer’ training. This was a 3 day programme with the objective of preparing the Champions to be able to develop their own skills development training workshops utilizing interactive methods (which is a relatively new concept in the region).

The first day was mostly based around Theoretical Learning looking at Learning Styles and Training Styles and getting the participants to think about what a ‘Good Trainer’ is.

The second day was mostly around introducing the materials and resources (which InspirEngage had tailor designed for the group), in order to allow them to prepare their own workshops.

The third and final day, each of the Champion groups delivered their own 2 hour workshop (either around Leadership, Project Management or Communication Skills). They did extremely well!

The workshop was delivered by Melody Hossaini and InspirEngage Associate Trainer; Mania Hossaini.

Testimonial:

I attended ‘Train the Trainer’ with Melody Hossaini in February 2011. It took our Champions in Kuwait to a higher level of leadership, project management, and communication skills. From all the courses I had been to in my life this course is one that I will remember for the rest of my life.
